#58- The Riverboat- Friday, August 17th

August 5, 2012

Friday, August 17th we will be back on the St. Croix for Taste on the Riverboat!  Don’t miss your chance for this amazing night.  Last year we had nearly 400 people, so who knows how many we will have this year!

Tickets will go on Sale for $25 in advance, or $30 the night of the event.  Dinner and Dessert will be provided, then dancing and other activities will occur throughout the night on the boat.  Doors open at 6pm, so plan on arriving before the 6:45pm departure because you will want to get free parking before the rush and you won’t want to be left behind in Stillwater.  If you had questions please reply to this post or check out our facebook event for more info. Dress code is semi-format, so guys wear suites, ties, (or no ties) and girls wear dresses… basically think of summer-wedding attire and that is how you should dress on the Riverboat.

Click here for the boat company that we will be using out of Stillwater.  We will be meeting at their dock on Friday, August 19th… don’t be late:

57. Hazel’s (NE MPLS)

June 1, 2012

For years North East Minneapolis was best known for it’s wide array of neighborhood bars, dive eateries and Jax Cafe (for the older folks), but more recently a new breed of restaurants has hit the NE scene and at the top of that list is Hazel’s, located right on the historic and quaint corner of 29th and Johnson.

Whether you live in South Minneapolis, Uptown or even all the way out to Chaska, you’ve probably heard about Hazel’s weekend brunch, but Hazel’s has also made a name for itself by making their dishes with food that is locally grown. So whether you are checking out their amazing breakfasts or one of their chef-inspired dinner entrees, you are sure to experience a jewel in the heart of North East.

Come out and invite a friend on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:30 and check out more about Hazel’s at http://www.hazelsnortheast.com/ or check out the Taste of the Twin Cities Facebook Fan Page.
