Wednesday, February 1st Taste of the Twin Cities will be going to Adelita’s in NE MPLS to check out their authentic Mexican cuisine. It is located off oc Central in NE MPLS and there is parking available behind the restaurant, on the street and in the Well’s Fargo parking lot. Tickets will go on Sale at all Substance Church campuses started Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st. They will be $25 in advance or $30 the night of the event, but you must RSVP with bill@substancechurch.com to RSVP in this instance (Questions just call Bill 612-805-4080). The theme this year is Prom, so bring out your colorful dresses and fashionable suits for this night on the river. Dinner and Dessert will be provided, then dancing and other activities will occur throughout the night on the boat. Doors open at 6pm, so plan on arriving before the 7pm departure because you will want to get free parking before the rush and you won’t want to be left behind in Stillwater. Friday, June 10th at 7pm, Taste of the Twin Cities will be visiting the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul to experience Taste in a new way. Come check out “Taste Gives Back” as we help support the Union Gospel’s mission of feeding the hungry in the Twin Cities. For $10 you will eat the same food that the homeless people eat, while raising money to support the organization. Each meal will raise between $4-7 depending on how many people we get to come out to the event, so it is definitely a great opportunity to give back!
Please note, we will not be serving food at the Union Gospel Mission, simply eating and learning more about it, so you do not need to worry about bringing your chef hat and apron along. Here is the address:

This Wednesday, May 11th at 7:30, come out to Willowgate in Roseville to check out their amazing Chinese dishes. Willowgate is best known for their Sesame Chicken, and if you’ve tried it before, you know how amazing it is… but they just redid their recipe and now the chicken is even more crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the sauce has an even better flavor. You have to try it, so Dan, the owner of Willowgate is creating a special treat for Taste by offering an amazing combo for everyone to sample the Sesame Chicken along with another of their dishes, all for $8.50. You gotta try it out, so come out to Taste this Wednesday and come hungry!

Wednesday, April 13th at 7:30pm we’ll be checking out Grumpy’s in Roseville right on Snelling off of 36W. Grumpy’s has a great menu full of burgers including their Elvis Burger (inspired by the King’s favorite sandwich- google it), Holy Guac burger and the staple Minnesotan burger, the Jucy Lucy. Along with great burgers you’ll also find wood grilled pizza and a Minnesota all-time favorite- Tater Tots!
Wednesday March 16th at 7:30pm Taste of the Twin Cities will be visiting Broadway Pizza in Fridley. Broadway has been serving up amazing pizza for the Twin Cities for over 50 years now, so come out to check out their famous thin crust pizza and all the other signature items.
